Questions
Your tyre size is printed on the sidewall of your current tyres — it looks something like 265/70R17. You can also find it on the tyre placard inside your driver's door or in your owner's manual. Alternatively, enter your rego above and we'll look it up for you, or just give us a call at either location.
A standard 4-tyre fit and balance typically takes 45–60 minutes. Larger vehicles, trucks or earthmoving equipment may take longer. We recommend booking ahead to minimise wait times, especially on Saturdays.
All-terrain (AT) tyres are designed for a mix of road and off-road use — they're quieter on bitumen and handle light to moderate off-road conditions well. Mud-terrain (MT) tyres have a much more aggressive tread pattern for serious off-road use. For most FNQ drivers who split time between roads and tracks, an AT tyre is the best all-rounder. If you're heading to Cape York or serious tracks, MT is worth it.
We recommend a wheel alignment every 10,000–15,000km, or any time you notice your vehicle pulling to one side, uneven tyre wear, or after hitting a pothole or kerb. In FNQ where unsealed roads are common, more frequent alignments may be needed.

Absolutely — this is our bread and butter. We can recommend and fit the right tyres for Cape York conditions, check your spare, advise on tyre pressures for corrugated tracks, and do a full mechanical check before you head off.
